In the new millennium, Selleck starred in a variety of TV films, including the Jesse Stone series, in which the actor was the role of a New England police chief. The actor received yet another Emmy nod for the part and was also the an executive producer on the series. Selleck plays a police commissioner, who is part of the multigenerational family of officers in the Blue Bloods. The show premiered on CBS in 2010 and later revived. He was a part of the loved Three Men and a Baby together with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg which became the top-grossing feature.
