Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is a talented American actress who has worked as a performer, writer as well as director and producer. Her most recognizable role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she's produced, directed and appeared in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle is the younger sibling and is an artist. The father of her is Jewish and her mother educated Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending an Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Since Buffy came to an end, Benson was in films including The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series.
