Her early success was boosted by her appearance on a few popular series. In those shows, she played the villainous Ling Woo. The actress took her initial fame into major screen roles in films like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She delivered a stunning performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino.
